I grew up in the Napa Valley then moved to San Francisco in my 20's where I met my husband. We worked in restaurants and hotels and traveled extensively through Africa and the Indian Ocean before settling down in Eleuthera, Bahamas to start a family and run a resort. We've lived in Kansas for six years with our two children. Amy Thurston Interiors + Creative Direction began as a way to merge motherhood and design. I am reluctant to categorize my "look". I try to incorporate the comfort from traditional design with the lines of modern interiors. My ultimate goal is to layer those uniquely for each client insuring that my projects remain curious, fresh, and without repetition.
